This policy explains what information the FucharMonk Creative Spell Checker ("the tool", "we") collects, why, and what we do with it. The tool is run by FucharMonk (fucharmonk.com).
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and, if you give it, your company name.
- Your password, stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form. We cannot see it.
- Usage records: for each check, the file name, date, file type, number of frames checked and number of mistakes found. We use these to apply your free monthly allowance and to keep the service running well.
- Technical data: your IP address when you sign up and sign in, used to prevent abuse (for example, blocking repeated failed sign-ins).
Your uploaded creatives
- Files you upload are used only to run the spell check you asked for.
- To read the text, still frames from your file are sent to an AI service provider (currently Google's Gemini models, accessed through OpenRouter). They process the frames under their own terms and privacy policies.
- Your uploaded file is deleted from our server as soon as the check finishes. The results, including small preview images of frames that contain mistakes, are kept for up to 6 hours so you can view them, then deleted automatically.
- We do not use your creatives to train our own AI models, and we never share them with anyone except the AI provider described above.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this tool.
How we use your information
- To create and run your account and provide the spell check.
- To enforce plan limits and protect the service from abuse.
- To contact you about your account or important changes to the service.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your account details and usage records while your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account at any time and we will remove your personal information, except where we must keep it by law.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by emailing contact@fucharmonk.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Security
Connections to the tool are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and access to stored data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes we will let you know by email or on the tool.
